I truly think that all weight loss related things as well as everything else in life should be fun and easy. It is our own choice to complicate things or keep them simple.
Therefore, I am giving you what I think is one of the easiest to follow programs when it comes to weight loss and/or exercise - Play Monopoly With Your Refrigerator! 
The rules are very simple. Everything in the fridge has a price and you have a daily allowance of monopoly dollars that you can spend on the food and this daily allowance just happens to be the amount of calories you need to eat in order to lose weight.
So, how do we setup this fun little game with ourselves (the more people included the more fun and easy for all).
Well, step one is to take out of the closet the old monopoly game, because we need the dollars from there. If you dont have one, you can download and print fake money from the download section or create and print your own fake money or just go to the shop and buy a monopoly 
Step 2. We need to agree on the prices of stuff in the refrigerator and because I like to keep things simple (you can adapt it to your needs as you like) I like to make a simple price by category. And here is how I would suggest:
- Any kind of a sweet (size of a small mobile phone) = 500 
- Any piece of meat or fish = 300 
- A plate of potatoes / rice / pasta or any other thing that accompanies the meat = 250 
- A portion of salat or vegetables = 100 
- Any one fruit = 50 
- A glass of any non-diet drink or any fruit juice = 150 
- A portion of cerial for breakfast = 300 
- Any one sandwitch (size of your hand) = 250 
- Anything else make an honest judgement for yourself = ? (hint: just look up on the box how many calories it is and thats how many dollars it costs)
There we have it, a super easy list that we don't even need to write down anywhere and can easily remember by heart after a few days.
Next, we need to figure out how much money you can spend per day in order to lose weight. The best thing to do here is to check with your nutritionist or general practitioner for the best figure of how many calories you need to consume to maintain your weight. If this is not possible, then assume the rough guideline of 1600 calories for men and 1300 for women. From this, we subtract 500 (don't take out more, 500 is really the max recommended for healthy weight loss) and we have a daily allowance of:
- 1100 for men
- 800 for women
That's it! All you have to do, is put in your wallet or on your table or wherever it fits best for you, your daily allowance of monopoly dollars in the morning and throughtout the day as you eat things pay for them! 
For example, if you are out of the house, move the payment from one pocket to another or one wallet/bag compartment into another. If at home, literally pay the refrigerator! 
Optional Step: if you do any exercise, then gets paid for your work! And this means that for a minimum of 1 hour of exercise you can take 500 payment, with which you can buy more food!! Isn't that great?!
With this little game, you can have fun alone or with family/friends and, at the same time reach your goals. GOOD LUCK!
